Yes, Medicaid Managed Care is required for Enhanced Services. Other help may still be available if you have regular Medicaid.

These groups include frequent hospital users, Health Home members, people with substance use disorder or serious mental illness, people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, pregnant people and people up to 12 months postpartum, some people up to 90 days after release from incarceration, and high-risk children under 18. Being in one group does not guarantee a service.

Yes. People with Medicaid Fee-for-Service may still get screening and help finding federal, state, local, or community programs.

The screening is free. Enhanced services may also be free if you meet the Medicaid, population, need, and service rules.

Yes. Each family member with Medicaid can complete a screening. Eligibility is checked separately for each person.

No. Screening is voluntary and does not change your Medicaid coverage.
